4 Days and 3 Nights

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park.
After a very early breakfast at around 6:30 am our next trip safari guide will be waiting for you in a luxurious 4X4 safari van to start our amazing adventure. Welcome to Murchison Falls, a jewel in Uganda's treasure trove of natural wonders, is a captivating destination that promises an immersive experience for every traveller. Named after the iconic waterfall where the Nile River dramatically forces its way through a narrow gorge, Murchison Falls National Park boasts an unrivalled blend of breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. We will drive to north western Uganda making a stopover at the top of the falls. Murchison falls is the worlds most powerful water fall. At the top of the falls the world’s longest river is forced into a seven-meter gouge dropping down 45m. As the sun finally dips below the horizon, the sky fades to a deep blue, and the first stars begin to twinkle. The falls continue to roar in the background, a constant reminder of the power and beauty of nature. A sundowner at Murchison Falls is not just an end to the day but a celebration of the magnificence of Uganda’s natural landscapes. It’s an experience that stays with you, a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and awe-inspiring beauty that captures the essence of the African wilderness. We will later check in our lodge for the night.


Day 2: Game drive and Boat cruise.
As dawn gently breaks over Murchison Falls National Park, nature orchestrates a breathtaking symphony of colours and sounds, unveiling a sunrise that transcends the ordinary. The first light bathes the savannah in hues of soft pinks and golden yellows, casting a warm glow that dances upon the undulating landscape.
After a very early breakfast we will embark on a thrilling safari through the park's vast savanna, where you'll encounter a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and an impressive variet

The park's proximity to the Nile River adds a unique dimension to your journey, that allows you to witness hippos lazing along the riverbanks, crocodiles sunning themselves, and a symphony of birdlife. The pièce de résistance, however, is the mighty Murchison Falls itself. Feel the ground shake as the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter-wide gorge, creating a powerful cascade that captivates the senses. Take a boat trip to the base of the falls for an awe-inspiring perspective, or trek to the top for panoramic views that will etch themselves into your memory.

Day 3: Morning Bush breakfast and fishing excursion or sunset boat cruise.

Today, you're in for a special treat – a bush breakfast amidst the towering palm trees of this pristine wilderness. We will have breakfast in to the gentle rustle of palm leaves and the soft chirping of birds as the first light of dawn breaks over Murchison Falls National Park. As you indulge in your meal, you're serenaded by the melodious songs of birds and the gentle rustle of palm fronds swaying in the breeze. The tranquillity of the surroundings and the camaraderie of your fellow traveller’s create a sense of connection and contentment that can only be found in the heart of the African bush. After savouring every last bite of your delicious breakfast, you linger a while longer, soaking in the beauty of your surroundings and relishing the moment of tranquillity and serenity. As you bid farewell to the palm trees of Murchison Falls, you carry with you memories of a magical morning spent in the embrace of nature, and the promise of many more adventures to come. Later as the sun begins its descent, casting a golden hue over the landscape, you embark on a journey along the calm waters of the Nile River. The gentle breeze caresses your skin as you glide along, soaking in the serene ambiance of the surroundings.

The lush greenery of the riverbanks provides a picturesque backdrop, dotted with acacia trees and tall grasses swaying in the wind. As the boat moves further into the delta, the wildlife comes to life. You spot a variety of animals congregating along the shores, from herds of elephants cooling off in the water to pods of hippos basking in the fading sunlight. Crocodiles lurk along the muddy banks, their eyes gleaming in the twilight. Birdsong fills the air, with a colourful array of avian species flitting about the reeds and trees. Kingfishers dart by, their vibrant plumage a striking contrast against the verdant foliage. Egrets and herons stand gracefully in the shallows, poised for their evening hunt.

Day 4: Walking safari.

A walking safari in Murchison Falls National Park is an unforgettable way to explore Uganda's largest national park up-close and on foot. This immersive experience takes you away from the typical safari vehicles, allowing you to appreciate the park's diverse ecosystem, guided by an experienced ranger. Along the way, you may spot giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, and various antelope species. Throughout the walk, the guide will share insights into animal tracks, droppings, plant life, and the unique balance of the park’s ecosystem. This safari offers a connection with nature and a chance to appreciate Murchison Falls’ wildlife and landscapes from a new, engaging perspective. We will later retire and relax at the lodge.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala.

After having a relaxed breakfast, we will transfer to Ziwa rhino sanctuary where we will track rhinos on foot and later transfer back to Kampala.
