Location: Western Uganda
Day1: Transfer – Kibale Forest.
After morning breakfast, our Uganda’s private safari will take us to kibale national park. Standing at an elevation of about 1590m above sea level and other areas at an elevation of 1100m above sea level, Kibale National Park offers one of the loveliest and most varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda. The Forest cover is interspersed with patches of grassland and swamp which dominates the northern and central parts of the park on an elevated plateau. Kibale Forest National Park is located in the western corner of Uganda at the base of the Rwenzori Mountains. The area is made up of lush equatorial forests, lakes and grasslands, and borders the Queen Elizabeth National Park in the south, forming a 180-kilometer-long corridor for migrating wildlife. This explains why savannah animals like elephants can be found in Kibale national park. In addition to having over 229 species of tree, many of which are endangered, Kibale has remarkable biological diversity, including 13 primate species, 60 species of mammal, and around 350 bird species.
Day 2: Kibale Forest- chimps tracking.
After relatively early breakfast we will get onto the bike and start our adventure. Biking through Kibale National Park is an exhilarating experience, blending the thrill of cycling with the profound serenity of one of Uganda's most lush and biodiverse landscapes. As you pedal through the dense forest, you’re surrounded by a vivid palette of greens. Tall trees with canopies that filter the sunlight, casting dappled shadows on the path. Occasionally, the undergrowth parts to reveal glimpses of colorful birds or a group of monkeys swinging from tree to tree. Biking through Kibale National Park is more than just a ride; it’s an immersive journey through one of the world’s most vibrant ecosystems, offering a unique blend of adventure, tranquility, and profound connection with nature.
Later in the day we will Engage with local communities and learn about their daily routines, traditions, and customs. Participate in hands-on activities such as traditional coffee making, craft workshops, and cultural performances, gaining firsthand insights into the vibrant tapestry of Ugandan culture. By choosing a community visit in Kibale National Park, you're not just experiencing the beauty of Uganda's wilderness but also making a positive impact on the lives of the people who call this land home. We will later visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk; rich in biodiversity and beautiful scenery, the wetland is a birder’s paradise with about 138 species. Located outside the park in Magombe Swamp, it hosts eight primate’s species, including the black-and-white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed, L’’Hoest’s and blue monkeys, and olive baboons. Bushbucks and mongooses can also be found here. The sanctuary was set up to preserve the exclusive environmental features and the wetland and is managed by the local community. After lunch we head for briefing at the park headquarters, where you'll meet your experienced guide who will lead you on the chimpanzee tracking excursion. During the briefing, you'll receive important information about safety precautions, the rules of conduct in the forest, and what to expect during the trek. As you enter the dense forest of Kibale National Park, you'll be enveloped by the sights, sounds, and scents of the African wilderness. The air is alive with the calls of birds and the rustling of leaves, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement. As you venture deeper into the forest, your guide will communicate with trackers who are familiar with the movements of the chimpanzee groups. When a troop is located, you'll approach quietly and observe these incredible primates from a safe distance. Once you've found a chimpanzee group, you'll have the opportunity to observe their behavior up close.
You may witness them grooming each other, playing, or foraging for food among the trees. Your guide will share insights into their social structure, habits, and communication, providing a deeper understanding of these remarkable animals. After spending an unforgettable hour with the chimpanzees, it's time to begin the journey back to the park headquarters. As you trek out of the forest, you'll carry with you memories of a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with one of our closest relatives in the animal kingdom.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
After a relaxed breakfast we will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, lying 1978 sq. km west of Uganda. It harbors a diverse eco-system with lovely African savanna plains, fertile wetlands making it home for the big game, 10 primate species, and many bird species.
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The day begins early as we head for the Uganda Kob mating grounds in hopes of catching sight of the predators swarming the unsuspecting antelopes. We search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and other wild animals in their natural habitat, before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the early afternoon, our Uganda’s private safari driver wiil transfer you for a boat launch safari along the Kazinga channel. The channel is 32 km long and offers beautiful scenery of hundreds of hippos along the banks and different bird species seen when cruising west towards Lake Edward.
Day5: Queen Elizabeth national park – Bwindi Impenetrable NP.
Our Uganda’s private safari takes a complete twist from the open savanna grasslands to thick impenetrable rain forest. From Queen Elizabeth National Park, we head to southwest part of Uganda to Bwindi impenetrable park. What used to stand out as sea of thick forest cover now it looks like an isolated island in the middle of cultivated land due to human activity.

On way to Bwindi, we will make a stopover at lake Rutoto a crater lake shape in the map of Africa for photoshoot moment.
Day6: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
The gorilla tracking day experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is an unforgettable adventure, offering travelers a rare opportunity to observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The day usually begins early in the morning with a hearty breakfast at the lodge. Before setting out, you'll attend a briefing by park rangers, who will provide essential information about gorilla behaviors, safety guidelines, and the rules and regulations for gorilla tracking. They'll also assign you to a specific gorilla family group and guide for the trek. With your guide and a small group of fellow trekkers, you'll set off into the dense forest of Bwindi. The trek can vary in duration and difficulty depending on the location of the gorilla family you're tracking, ranging from a few hours to a full day of hiking. You'll navigate through thick vegetation, across streams, and over uneven ground, all while keeping an eye out for signs of gorilla activity.
Encountering the Gorillas.
You'll spend a precious hour with the gorillas, quietly observing their behaviors, interactions, and social dynamics. This is a time to marvel at their intelligence, playfulness, and the striking similarities they share with humans. Photography is permitted, but flash photography is not allowed. As a token of your participation in gorilla tracking, you'll receive a certificate from the Uganda Wildlife Authority, commemorating your visit and contribution to gorilla conservation efforts. Back at your lodge you can relax and unwind after a rewarding day of gorilla tracking. Day 7 Cycle through Echuya forest
After morning breakfast, we will transfer to Echuya forest by van. Biking through Echuya Forest down to Lake Bunyonyi is a captivating adventure that combines the thrill of mountain biking with the serene beauty of some of Uganda's most picturesque landscapes. As you begin your ride in Echuya Forest, you are enveloped by a dense canopy of trees. The forest is rich with biodiversity, and the air is filled with the sounds of birds and the occasional rustling of small animals.
As you start descending, the forest begins to thin out, and you transition from the dense, dark canopy of Echuya to more open landscapes. The change in scenery is striking, with more light filtering through and the horizon opening up.
The rolling hills provide breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Terraced fields and distant mountains create a picturesque backdrop.
Lake Views:
As you near Lake Bunyonyi, the views become increasingly stunning. The lake, known for its depth and dotted with 29 islands, comes into view, reflecting the sky and surrounding hills.

Day 8: Boat ride and transfer to Lake Mburo national park.
After relaxed breakfast we explore lake Bunyonyi
A boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi is a serene and enchanting experience that immerses you in the breathtaking views of the beauty of the hills of kigezi. Referred to as the land of many birds, the lake is surrounded by lush, terraced hills and dotted with 29 islands. Your adventure starts as you board a motorized boat that is equipped with life jackets.
This cruise will take you around the main historical island on the lake. The highlight being the punishment island. A boat cruise on this lake is a magical journey through one of the most beautiful landscapes of Uganda. It offers a unique blend of natural, cultural diversity and peaceful relaxation. Lake we will transfer to lake Mburo national park.
Day 9: Discover the wild on two wheels.
After a very early breakfast be ready for an adventure of your life time. Picture yourself biking through the breathtaking landscapes of Uganda’s Lake Mburo National Park, where the savannah meets the wetlands, and the call of the wild beckons. Unlike any other safari, a biking safari allows you to get up close and personal with the park’s diverse wildlife. Imagine cycling alongside herds of zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and even the rare eland. Lake Mburo’s mix of rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and five lakes provides a stunning backdrop for your adventure. Day 10: Transfer to Kampala.
After breakfast we will transfer back to Entebbe airport making a stopover at the equator.
